An overview of our international activities
As the highest turnover wholesale distribution company in Germany, GV-Partner also operates abroad. For many years customers in surrounding European countries have also been supplied from Germany. The Danish sites of GV-Partner's Hørkram Foodservice A/S in Kolt near Århus and Sorø near Copenhagen supply key catering, hotel industry and mass catering clients throughout Denmark. From its German sites, GV-Partner currently supplies catering businesses in Poland, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic.
And with Foodservice Austria in Salzburg, there is now also a branch in the Alpine region ready to assist our customers. Initial contacts in France and Switzerland have already been made, with a view to the GV-Partner group also being able to grow with the European market in future. The GV-Partner group is also represented on the high seas with the HMS Hanseatic Marine Service division, which has sites in Hamburg and Singapore.
Hørkram Foodservice
In 2004 the Danish owner-managed wholesalers Th. Schulz and Hørkram combined forces to form Hørkram Schulz Foodservice A/S. A period of steady growth followed. At the same time, through its investment in Catervision, CITTI also gained a foothold in Denmark. The companies came to know and appreciate one another as competitors - and a successful cooperation took shape. In 2008 the two companies joined forces with the aim of meeting the growing challenges of the market together. Hørkram Schulz Foodservice A/S became a member of the GV-Partner family. Today, building alterations and extensions are pending, with a view to continuing the positive developments of recent years and arming the company for the changing requirements of the market.
HMS - A strong partner in shipping!
From small beginnings as a ship supplier on the world's busiest artificial waterway - the Kiel canal - a global company has emerged out of selective, long-standing partnerships. Since January 2010 the HMS Hanseatic Marine Services Group, which has over 300 employees worldwide, has been a reliable partner to shipping, with major sites in Hamburg and Singapore. Together, the originally eight individual companies are able to look back on over 170 years of experience in marine services. Under the name HMS Hanseatic Marine Services Group, they came together to create a global player, which, from propellers to champagne, supplies shipping companies across the world with over 30,000 products - United in One Team.
